The mine is just a short hike from the end of the road and is indicated uphill by recent exploration trenching. Beware there are sky lights into a shaft right beside the trail below the recent work. The trip to the observation bunkers is a fair hike but the trail above the beach at the far end of the beach is an easy walk, it starts near a fallen power pole about 100 yards above the beach. Bushwacking back from that point, inland, to Fox Harbour is not recommended. Watch the tide for this walk on the beach. A high tide will reduce the beach to nothing in places.

Dave Robertshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08656315339834821097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-923210402613245733.post-26272285679740374182018-08-19T07:10:30.381-05:002018-08-19T07:10:30.381-05:00Great adventure. At t.he end of the beach go up the hill a follow trail. You will see the gun observation bunkers. SkipperBillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12188168013589448983noreply@blogger.com
