NuLu Mural Trio

The East Market District of downtown is also referred to as NuLu (New Louisville).


We enjoyed a few murals...

Mural on side of Red Tree - mural #1

...which led us inside their shops.

Fun stuff inside of Red Tree!

We spent a few dollars at the Macaron Bar...


..but passed on lunch from Royals Hot Chicken.  The neon sign was almost as good as the mural!

Please and Thank You claims to have Kentucky's best chocolate chip cookie so we gave them a try...


..and they were so delicious that they made us feel like we could fly!

    ...murals 1 and 2 look similar to mural her. I beat that the wings is a favorite photo op. Thanks for sharing.

    Mural 1 certainly brightens up that drab building. Mural 2 is quite a funny one, but my favourite would be mural 3 - the wings :)

    The Red Tree mural does a great job of integrating the graphics into the architectural details of the building. The one that's a full side of a building is neat as well.
