I love the snake holding up the curtain...though not quite sure what the imagery is supposed to represent. Any thoughts on what these images all mean would be welcomed!
The wall it is on is in pretty bad shape, the mortar and bricks looking a little scary. Obvious why they didn't paint directly on the side of the building. Hope it's secured really well!

The wall provides a great contrast to the piece. There certainly is a lot of symbolism there if we only knew what it meant!
ReplyDeleteThe bricklaying is a bit rubbish looks like a right bodge job, the mural looks like it is keeping it together.
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of mysteries painted into the mural. Only the artist knows their true meaning.
ReplyDeleteAt first site, I hadn't even noticed the snake. I have no idea what this is all about, but the head of the man is very prominent present. So I think that must mean something, but what??
ReplyDeleteEverything in the landscape appears to have teeth. Not exactly a soothing feeling to nature. The gray head is an enigma to me, but not to the artist it seems. A compelling piece for sure. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteHave to admit ... didn't notice the snake until I got to the close-up. My mind doesn't work like the artist's obviously -- his message remains a mystery to me ... but it's quite interesting nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteSo many seemingly disparate elements. Yes, very intriguing.
