I get my picture taken with all the famous folk in the mural. What's in the purple bag? Cupcakes, of course. |
We also stopped at the Chesterton Cake Shoppe.
We didn't buy any cake, but we did move along a little further down the block and buy some of their cupcakes at Sweetville, which sold mostly candy. They were okay...but not as good as the ones in Valparaiso!
Sharon only ate one and a half of my half dozen cupcakes from Valparaiso...plus some extra frosting! |
I sure hope there's good cupcakes to be found in South Carolina. Sharon promised me that if Wayne and I take a day off hiking in the Smokies to visit her and Bill in Knoxville she'll find me some good ones in her hometown. Then I'll need to go hiking to work them off! Wayne has a seafood addiction...we'll see how that works out once we hit the coast.
