Author! Author!

For my contribution to Monday Mural here's one from back when Katrina was still going to school in Eau Claire.   There was a bookstore with this author themed mural.

I've read Kurt Vonnegut and Mark Twain, but nothing by Jane Austen.

I've been reading a lot on my Kindle lately including "Revival" by Stephen King, "Sisterland" by Curtis Sittenfeld. "Passage" by Justin Cronin, and the "Wayward Pines" trilogy too.  What have you read recently?

  2. How strange to have no windows. But, it does make up with the neat mural. I found Pride & Prejudice to the be the easiest to read by Jane Austen. It must be for a whole lot of other people since it's been made into quite a few movies over time.

  3. I recently finished Tom Brokaw's newest, "A Lucky Life, Interrupted," since my oldest brother was recently diagnosed with MM, and before that was "Despicable Species," by Janet Lembke, very enjoyable thanx to her excellent writing and knowledge, and prior to Species, I read a novel about Tibet. I give my books away after reading, and then I'm bad about remembering many titles and/or authors. My hubby likes Stephen King novels, but - hooooeee! - they're too scary for me! :- )

  4. I'm glad the artist helps us figure out who the author's are. Some are easy (hello, Shakespeare) but others not so much. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
