Guard Dog

I almost missed this one during our mural hunt in Sheboygan.  The sassy bulldog was painted by Alex Groh, an illustrator and designer from Detroit, Michigan.  He graduated from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design in 2011 and does a lot of work in Wisconsin, especially Milwaukee.

I wonder if it keeps the bunnies, squirrels and deer out of the garden?  Probably not.  Of course there probably isn't anything to guard anymore, we've had snow a few times already in the past few weeks here in Wisconsin, not mention temps well below freezing.

I'm hoping to get out of the house and get some new stuff for the blog in the coming weeks, I kind of hibernated for the past 7 days but I'm starting to adapt to the sudden swing to winter weather.  Linking up to Monday Mural.

  2. Instead of a scarecrow, you found a "scare-dog!"

  3. What a great find. It looks like it could be a paste-up. If so, winter will make him fade away. If not, he'll bloom again with the flowers. Either way, it's been a pleasure meeting him. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
